Share a Climate Story Interview

Click here to share your own climate story instead of a climate story interview.

Here are some suggested questions for a climate story interview:
  • What is your name and where do you live? What in your local environment or community is special to you?
  • How does climate change threaten people and places that you care about?
  • ​Describe the moment when you realized that climate change was affecting your life. How did you feel?
  • Describe your emotional responses to climate change as you think about yourself, your family, and your community.
  • ​​Describe your vision for your community and your conviction to contribute to a positive way forward through the climate crisis.​

    To submit your recorded climate story interview, please share the terms of service with your interviewee and fill in the following form:

    If you recorded an interview of someone else telling their climate story, put their name here.
    With consent, submitted interviews may be edited for brevity and focus.

    Recorded climate stories should be 1-3 minutes in length. Before uploading, please listen to your entire recorded climate story to make sure it is recorded at a proper volume and is intelligible. Only MP3 files are accepted on this upload form. To send another audio file type, please email as an attachment to jason@climatestoriesproject.org

    If you are sharing an audio climate story, please upload a photograph of yourself or your interviewee to share alongside the story.

    If you have taken part in a Climate Stories Ambassadors workshop, you may use the shared Google Drive link to upload media.
    You may also attach an audio story and photo in an email, or share directly via your recording device to jason@climatestoriesproject.org.
